Proof of mandatory liability car insurance can now be integrated into the official ID.Gov application, which facilitates access to digital documents issued by the state.
This Tuesday, the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF), together with the Agency for Administrative Modernization (AMA), announced in a press release the signing of a collaboration protocol that makes it possible to integrate mandatory car insurance into the application of ID.Gov.
According to statements quoted by ECOseguros, access to this document digitally “is the result of joint work by the technical services of ASF and AMA, which is the entity responsible for ensuring the integration of this new document into the application”.
The main objective of this application developed by the Public Administration is to allow Portuguese citizens – with an active Digital Mobile Key – to add, access and share the data of identification documents available on the platform directly from their mobile phone.
